This is my childhood.

I recently found a report my older brother wrote back in August of 2004. This is the cutest thing ever. I'm going to leave all the spelling mistakes and everything...

 Video Games

I like playing video games. No buddie likes Luigi, no buddie likes Wario or D.K. My little sister likes Peach, my little brother likes Yoshie, and I like Mario. I like Mario because I win alot from him. I really like to play the game of Mario Party. Mario especialy has my favorite colors. My little sister tout me how to be com. I like being com. My little sister likes being Peach because Peach is a girl. My little brother likes Yoshie because he thinks Yoshie is a dinosaur and he likes dinosaurs. Yoshie is not a dinosaur, he's a yoshie. I can't explaine everthing to my little brother, because he's only four. My little sister is six. I am eight in a half. We don't like Wario because he's very very vilent. We don't like D.K. because he's insaine. We don't like Luigi because he kicks Mario, and Peaches but.

I'm kind of shocked my brother wasn't ever diagnosed with ADD... I'm not even sure what the original topic they were supposed to write about was... So anyways, to translate this. In my early childhood my brothers and I very much enjoyed playing our N64, even though the GCN was probably out by then lol. One of the games we liked was Mario Party 64 because we could all play together(though I did enjoy just watching my brothers play. A 6 year old little girl can kinda tell she sucks at video games). And as my has brother stated in this essay, he played as Mario, I always played as Peach, and my younger brother played as Yoshi(who still very much likes dinosaurs at the age of almost 13). The computer players we would pick for fourth player changed between Luigi, Wario, and DK(am I the only one that finds it weird Toad-who still sounded adorable then- was not a playable character and DK was, and now it's the opposite?). In actuality, we didn't like any of the other characters because we just sucked at the game THAT much and wouldn't admit it. At one point I figured out how to change the characters from real players to com players mid-game, and make all the characters com players, so it's kinda like watching a movie or someone else play for you. I also remember not knowing com meant computer and I thought it was actually someone playing. We were strange children...

But man this gives me so many nostalgic feels!! I wanna play the game again so badly!! Has anyone else played Mario Party 64, aka the first one. What's your most/least favorite mini-game? :'D
